We come to the car in Johannesburg, read the fault codes and readiness monitors, and send you the scanner’s report with every code in plain language.
Before you buy a used car
The same scan, done at the seller’s address before the money moves. R550, or R750 with a simple visual check of the main points.
Fleet scans — R600 a car
Three or more cars at one address, each scanned and given a simple visual check in one visit, so 5 cars are R3,000. A report for every car and a one-page fleet summary. Monthly plans from R500 a car. E-hailing drivers can book together, and two cars at one address are R1,350 for both.
What a scan is not
A scan is not a mechanical inspection. We do not assess the body, paint, rust, tyres, brakes or suspension, we do not road-test the car, and we do not tell you whether to buy it.
A fault code points to a system, not to a confirmed failed part, and a car can have problems that never log a code. If you are serious about a car, have a qualified mechanic look at it as well.
We only read. We never clear codes or change settings on a car.
