In plain language
Each code is written out in plain words: which system logged it and what the standard definition says. Where monitors have not completed, the report says that the fault memory may have been cleared recently.
What a scan is not
A scan is not a mechanical inspection. We do not assess the body, paint, rust, tyres, brakes or suspension, we do not road-test the car, and we do not tell you whether to buy it.
A fault code points to a system, not to a confirmed failed part, and a car can have problems that never log a code. If you are serious about a car, have a qualified mechanic look at it as well.
We only read. We never clear codes or change settings on a car.
