These terms govern your use of mzansimotive.com and any purchase you make from Mzansi Motive. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
Mzansi Motive is a South African business with two sides. We are an online retailer of automotive styling, accessory and diagnostic products, and we provide mobile vehicle diagnostic and pre-purchase inspection services across Johannesburg and Pretoria. 2. Products & fitment
We describe products and their vehicle compatibility as accurately as possible. Fitment guides are provided to help, but it remains your responsibility to confirm a part suits your specific vehicle before installation. Colours may vary slightly from images due to screen settings.
3. Services
Our diagnostic and inspection services are carried out at an address you nominate within our service area, at a time agreed with you. By booking, you confirm that you are the owner of the vehicle or have the owner's permission for us to work on it, and that safe and lawful access to the vehicle will be available.
A diagnostic scan reports what your vehicle's control systems have logged and explains what those findings mean. It is a diagnosis, not a repair, and it does not constitute a guarantee that a vehicle is free of faults — only that we have accurately reported what could be read and observed at the time. We do not name a specific failed component on the strength of a fault code alone.
A pre-purchase inspection is an informed opinion on a vehicle's condition at the time of inspection, intended to help you make a buying decision. It is not a warranty, and it cannot account for faults that develop afterwards or that are not detectable by inspection and scanning.

4. Pricing & payment
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Introductory or launch rates are clearly marked as such and may change; any change applies only to bookings made after the change. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. Your order is confirmed only once payment has been received and you receive an order confirmation email.
5. Orders
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, where stock is unavailable, a booking cannot be accommodated, or a pricing error has occurred. If we cancel a paid order, you'll receive a full refund.
6. Delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates and are covered in our Shipping Policy. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, incorrect addresses, or events beyond our reasonable control. Services are not delivered by courier; they are performed at the agreed address and time.
7. Returns & refunds
Returns, cancellations and refunds are handled per our Refund, Returns & Cancellations Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Installation & use
Many products are intended to be fitted by a competent person or professional installer. We are not liable for damage, injury or loss arising from incorrect installation or misuse of a product.
9. Acting on our findings
Any repair decision you take following our report remains yours. Where we advise that a vehicle should not be driven, that advice is given in good faith and in your interest, and we are not liable for loss arising from a decision to drive it regardless.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, logos, and imagery — belongs to Mzansi Motive or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Vehicle brand names are referenced for fitment and compatibility purposes only; Mzansi Motive is not affiliated with or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product, order or service is limited to the amount you paid for that order or booking. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
